ISLAMABAD: Special assistant to the prime minister on water and power Musaddiq Malik has said that the notification of revised power tariff would not be withdrawn.

Talking to Geo news, Musaddiq Malik said that in order to give subsidy on power there would be a need to print notes, which, he said would triple or quadruple the inflation.

He said that the Supreme Court was of the view that it is a responsibility of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to issue notification of revised power tariff.
