LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has appealed to the people of Pakistan to show their solidarity with the innocent victims of Ancholi blasts and observe a day of mourning on Saturday (today).

In a statement issued here on Friday, Altaf Hussain appealed to the people and MQM workers to remain peaceful and keep an eye on terrorist elements.

He said that every person is saddened and grieved on the act of terrorism. The dangers and challenges currently faced by Pakistan demand that people remain peaceful and alert, and continue with keeping the transport and businesses open, he added.

The MQM supremo further said that because of terrorism students have suffered immensely, therefore, he appealed to keep the educational institutes open.

He appealed to all the people of Pakistan to pray for the victims of Ancholi blasts and their family members.
