Police kill three ‘dacoits’ in Lahore encounter

LAHORE: Police claimed to have killed three dacoits in an encounter in Lower Mall area of the city.

The police said that the encounter took place within the precincts of Lower Mall Police Station in which a proclaimed offender Kashif Butt, carrying head money of Rs700,00 was also killed.

The police said that the dacoits opened fire and were killed when the law enforcers returned fire. Identities of the two dacoits were yet to be ascertained.
