DUBAI: Will the Dubai rain save the test match today? Yesterday Pakistan breathed a sigh of relief as the rains came to Dubai stadium at the end of fourth day of the second Test and saved Saeed Ajmal to face Sri Lankan bowlers further.
Now, if you want to make a good guess about how far rain will go to save Pakistan, you need to know something about the rain patterns in Dubai.
According to the local reports, on Saturday, rain was reported across the U.A.E whereas on Sunday the weather will remain wet, which can cause delay in the match.
Now if weather wasted a couple of hours and another couple of hours Sri Lanka bowlers take to get rid off Pakistani players, then there are chances that Sri Lanka will have difficulty to make the required score in the allotted time.
So we have some hope still left that Pakistan will can have the resolve to save the test if and only if Dubai weather came to help the Pakistan team.
