DHAKA: West Indies have gone through to the semi finals of the T-20 World Cup 2014 beating Pakistan by 84 runs at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, Mirpur.

Ever since D.Bravo and D.Sammy started to turn the tables for WI when they were batting it has been a one way traffic.

Pakistan got off to the worst possible start losing Ahmed Shehzad on the first ball of their innings and eventually getting out 82 in 17.5 overs.

The WI spinners never let Pakistan get back into the game from there as they bamboozled the Pakistan batsmen with spin and variety.

None of the Pakistan batsmen looked comfortable against S.Badree and S.Narine as they dismissed six batsmen, four of them stumped.

Badree finnished with 3-10 off 4 overs with the new ball and Narine came later on to claim 3-16 off his quota. They were well supported by K.Santokie and A.Russel who got 2 wickets a piece for 9 and 15 runs respectively.

D.Bravo was declared player of the match for his splendid batting.

West Indies now face Sri Lanka in the semi final on the 3rd of April at Dhaka.
