PPP will not become part of any alliance against democracy: Shah

SUKKUR: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khusheed Shah has reiterated that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would not become part of any alliance to abolish democratic system, Geo News reported.

Talking to media at Sukkur Airport, Khursheed Shah said PPP would not sacrifice democracy for any treasury seat.

Khursheed Shah said the politicians should show seriousness at this time, adding unjustified sit-ins and whatever happening in the name of change of system in the country is wrong.

PPP would be on the front foot to save the democratic process in the country if there was any threat to the democracy, Shah resolved.

Shah criticized the government, saying owing to its non seriousness, some politicians were staging sit-ins and some taking out protest demonstrations.
