Traders demand army deployment in Karachi

KARACHI: Traders have informed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that the law and order situation in Karachi is far from improving as the ongoing operation in the metropolis has not proved successful due to political meddling.

Karachi Chamber of Commerce President Abdullah Zaki told media after the meeting with prime minister that the traders had demanded deployment of army in Karachi to bring normalcy back to the city of lights.
