Karachi rejects Khan's call for civil disobedience

KARACHI: Citizens of Pakistan’s largest city and the financial hub of the country have rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief, Imran Khan’s call for civil disobedience.

PTI Chief Imran Khan’s call to stop paying utility bills and sales tax has been seen as detrimental to prosperity by businessmen and traders who have rejected the call outright.

The public at large says Imran Khan’s call for civil disobedience will cause economic destruction rather than improving the situation in the country.

Expressing disappointment at Imran Khan’s call for civil disobedience residents of Karachi say that Imran Khan’s Azadi March and his statements have now diverted from the real issues.
