Gunmen kill ASI in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Unidentified gunmen shot dead an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Police Department in interior city and fled away from the scene.

According to police, ASI Asif Memood was going along with his children to drop them to school and when he reached at Bora Chowk in Yakatoot area, he was ambushed by unidentified gunmen. As a result, he died on the spot.

Police and local residents rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital.
