Misbah says, will leave captaincy if form doesn't improve

DUBAI: Pakistani ODI Captain, Misbahul Haq says if his batting form does not improve ahead of the World Cup, he will leave captaincy.

In an interview to a foreign news outlet the Pakistani captain said, he has been out of form for over a month, adding that he has two remaining tests against Australia and the series against New Zealand to improve his form.

Misbah said, If his form does not improve, he will not be a burden on the team and will leave the captaincy.

He added, that for him Pakistan and the team come first and that he would never want to stay in the team even if he is out of form.
