MQM, JI, PPP stage walk out from NA over GST on POL products

ISLAMABAD: Opposition parties staged token walk out from the National Assembly on Monday against further GST on petroleum products.

Sources said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Jamaat-e-Islami were among the parties who staged walk out.

Later, all the parties returned to the assembly after Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer persuaded them.
