John Krasinski elicited emotions as Jim Halpert reunited with Steve Carell’s Michael Scott for the upcoming IF.

As May 17 nears, release date for the comedy film, Krasinski stirred nostalgia among fans as he shared an emotional promo on his social media and captioned, “It feels so goooood!”.

The clip begins with Emily Blunt’s husband revealing that the movie’s main character, Blue is voiced by his ‘dear friend’ Carell.

“We actually worked together on this little thing a long time ago”, he noted before the video cuts to the recording studio where he warmly welcomes the Despicable Me star.

“So good to see you”, Krasinski remarked.

Nonetheless, unable to maintain the emotional demeanor, the duo then joked about the hug being a part of the script as Krasinski quipped “I just love that this is the fifth take and you did great on this”.

The playful comment prompted Steve to rush back to the door for a supposed do-over as the 44-year-old filmmaker joined in and pulled an exaggerated spit take for the camera.

The 44-year-old filmmaker has previously spoken to Total Film about his reunion and mentioned that he cried all day instead of laughing because Steve expressed how “proud he is of [him] to be making movies”.
