Nawaz Sahrif calls for bringing Baloch leaders into mainstream

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch to start broad-based reconciliation process in the volatile province.

The newly elected chief minister called on the prime minister here on Wednesday. Nawaz Sharif urged the chief minister to take all the Baloch leaders and political parties into confidence to bring them into mainstream so that a new era of Balochistan’s development and betterment could start.

He stressed the need to work jointly, leaving behind bitterness of the past, as the new government was going to start a new journey of friendship and harmony in Balochistan.
