IHC tells Sethi to continue work, ensure elections in 90 days
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has allowed acting chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi to continue his work on the post and ensure elections in 90 days to elect the new chairman.

Interim PCB chairman assured the court for holding elections in 90 days besides resolving the board matters. Sethi said he was struggling to revive international cricket in Pakistan.

After listening Sethi’s remarks, IHC Justice Shaukat Siddiqui reposed confidence in PCB chairman and asked him to continue work.

The judge remarked that cricket is the game of all Pakistanis. The court also instructed Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to monitor elections in PCB.

Speaking to media after the hearing, Najam Sethi said he held meeting with all the stakeholders on Wednesday and today all are on same board.
