Ex-caretaker Sindh minister arrested in EOBI corruption scandal

KARACHI: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested former caretaker provincial minister Sindh, Iqbal Dawood Pakwala in connection with the Employees' Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) corruption scandal, Geo News reported.

Director FIA Sindh Muhammad Malik said Iqbal Dawood is the key accused of Rs200 billion corruption in EOBI.

Sources said the former Sindh minister is being investigated over purchasing land for the institution.
