CJ SHC for implementing SC orders in Karachi unrest case
KARACHI: Chief Justice Sindh High Court (SHC) Justice Mushir Alam has directed the authorities concerned to further enhance security of judicial complexes across the province, Geo News reported.

The SHC Chief Justice was presiding over a meeting on judges’ security and law and order in the SHC premises here Monday. Chief Secretary, Advocate General, IG Sindh, DG Rangers and other officials attended the meeting.

He said the Sindh government had assured provision of bulletproof vehicles to judges besides improving their security.

Justice Mushir Alam said law and order issue in Karachi could be resolved if the Supreme Court verdict in Karachi unrest case be implemented.

The justice regretted that the authorities concerned failed to implement SC verdict on Karachi unrest. Ordering its implementation, he said this would resolve law and order issue in the metropolis.

He also ordered that steps be taken for making the security cameras operational across the city particularly in the red zones.
