Supreme Court issues notices in fake-degrees case

ISLAMABAD : The Supreme Court has summoned records of educational documents of PML-Q’s Samina Khawar Hayat, and PPP’s Nadir Magsi among others, Geo News reported.

The court has barred former federal minister Liaquat Bhatti from contesting the by-elections, ordering that he cannot file his nomination papers until all his educational certificates have been verified, Geo News reported.

The court has ordered, that all educational institutions should cooperate with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to verify the certificates.
