Pakistan’s maiden mobile court set in motion in KPK
PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s first of its kind mobile court went into action on Saturday here, Geo News reported.

This court will keep moving in different parts of the province to provide justice at the doorsteps of the citizens by hearing their cases and giving instant decisions for the resolution of the disputes.

Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice, Dost Mohammad Khan inaugurated the mobile court service at a simple ceremony here.

Talking to media, PHC CJ said that with the introduction of this service, the citizens living in far-flung areas would not have to travel all the way to the city courts instead these mobile courts reaching to their remote villages would settle the disputes on the spot.

PHC CJ said that 9 judges and 18 lawyers have been given special training for manning these mobile courts and added that any citizen needing help could also call the mobile court in his area on phone.
