Floodwater recedes in Karachi localities

KARACHI: Floodwater from Saturday’s torrential rain could not be drained in various localities of the city, Geo News reported Monday.

According to reports, water that entered Saadi Town, Amroha Society and Safoora Goth started receding. However, stagnant water could not be completely drained.

Korangi Crossing road is still closed for the traffic due to rising water flow in Malir River. Road leading to Korangi Qayumabad from Korangi Crossing was still inundated.
