Karachi rain, floods leave behind several stories of destruction
KARACHI: Parts of the city, which were severely hit by the rains and floodwater, are returning to normalcy, as water receded after leaving scars of devastation in the affected areas, Geo News reported on Monday morning.

Following Saturday’s torrential rains, accumulated rainwater overflowing onto the roads and streets had entered into houses located in Saadi Town, Amroha Society, Safoora Goth and adjoining areas in the city. The water level in these areas has receded, while the Pakistan Army and other rescue teams are still draining rain water in some areas.

Flash floods in Malir River badly damaged the road connecting Korangi crossing and the city leading to the stoppage of all traffic.
