IGP KP likens fight against terrorism to cricket match
PESHAWAR: The Inspector General Police (IGP) Khyber Paktunkhwa (KP), Ihsan Ghani has compared the fight against terrorism to a cricket match in which ‘we sometimes hit a six, sometimes lose a wicket’.

“Our fight against terrorists is like a cricket match. Sometimes we hit a six, sometimes lose a wicket. This is a test match not a T20 and will continue,” the IGP said while speaking to reporters here on Monday.

Ghani added that threats were being received and precautions had been taken to avoid a jailbreak similar to the one happened in Dera Ismail Khan.

Following the jailbreak in which over 240 prisoners escaped, several police officials including the SP elite forces and DSP elite force were suspended.
