SC dismisses petition against drone attacks
ISLAMABABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has dismissed a petition seeking to halt drone strikes in the country’s tribal areas.

The petition was being heard by a two member bench headed by Justice Tassaduq Jilani.

The apex court stated that affairs related to drone attacks were not within its jurisdiction and the petition related to security, foreign policy and the country’s defence.

Justice Tasaaduq Jilani remarked that the court’s interference in the issue of drone attacks was not feasible.
