PM directs Nisar to make APC result oriented

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif has directed Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to adopt measures to make the All Parties’ Conference (APC) on terrorism result oriented with the assistance of all political parties.

Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Chaudhry Nisar on Friday met PM Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House.

During the meeting, the Minister Interior apprised the Prime Minister of the overall law and order situation prevailing in the country, in particular Karachi.

The Prime Minister reiterated the resolve of his government to take all-out measures for the restoration of peace in the city of Karachi.

While talking to the minister, the premier emphasized on the need for enhancing coordination among law enforcement agencies through intelligence sharing and joint actions for effectively checking crime in the city.

The Prime Minister directed the Interior Minister to take stringent measures for the maintenance of peace and security in the country. (PPI/Geo)
