Lahore rape victim girl still traumatized

LAHORE: The five-year old girl, who was sexually assaulted in Lahore, was still unable to record statement on third day of the incident, Geo News reported.

Sources said the child was scared due to the tragedy she faced. She was still traumatized and opens her eyes for a while and close them. She was unable to speak yet.

According to the hospital administration physical condition of the girl was stable but she was battling mental and physical agony, however, in a day or two her psychological counseling would be started by the psychiatrists.

The doctors said that they would carry out two more operations after two weeks keeping in view condition of the patient.

They said that there was no need to dispatch the child abroad for medical treatment as the medical facility had all the arrangements to cure the rape victim.
