4.7-magnitude earthquake jolts Shangla

PESHAWAR: A moderate intensity of earthquake jolted different parts of Shangla on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According seismic centre the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.7 on the Richter Scale, while its epicentre was in Afghanistan’s Hindukush region at a depth of 163 kilometre.

Tremors were also felt in Chitral and Peshawar. However, no loss of life and property was reported until filing of this report.
