Child killed, 31 injured as bus plunges into ravine in Muree

RAWALPINDI: A child was killed and 25 others were injured when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in Murree, Geo News reported Saturday.

According to reports, the accident took place in Tarait area of Muree when the bus plunged into the 40-feet deep ravine.

As many as 15 injured were retrieved and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Twenty-five members of a family including men, women and children belonging to Lahore were also among others on board.

According to last reports that came in, rescue workers were facing difficulties due to darkness and cold weather.
