CNG stations to stay shut in Sindh Thursday-Saturday
KARACHI: The filling stations of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) across Sindh will observe a 48-hour closure starting Thursday morning, Geo News reported.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has revised its CNG off day schedule, according to which supply to the pumps will remain unplugged from 8AM Thursday till 8AM Saturday. Under the previous schedule the CNG stations were supposed to observe one day closure at a time.

Meanwhile, today the domestic consumers complained of low gas pressure in some parts of the metropolis. The gas pressure remained considerably low in Lyari, Keamari and the old city areas besides the residential areas of North Nazimabad. Consequently, people faced difficulties in cooking at homes.

According to SSGC, the re-opening of CNG stations today shot up the demand-supply gap leading to the low pressures at homes.
