Pillion riding banned in Karachi for one month

KARACHI: The Sindh government has imposed a ban on pillion ridding for one month, Geo News reported on Sunday.

The ban will be effective tonight at 12.00am.

Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Memon said the ban on pillion riding has been imposed in the backdrop of recent terror incidents and attacks on policemen.

Women, disabled persons, senior citizens, journalists, law enforcement agencies personnel and children under twelve years remain exempted from the ban, Sharjeel Memon said.
