Body found in plane's landing gear in US

WASHINGTON: A man's body has been found in the landing gear of an aircraft at an airport in the US.

The South African Airways Airbus A340 landed at Dulles Airport in Washington on Saturday, the Metropolitan Washing Airports Authority said.

About 1.30pm, ground crew located the body of an adult male in a wheel well of the plane, which was parked at a remote area of the airport.

Emergency services were sent to the scene, including investigators from the FBI and Customs and Border Protection.
