Ceasefire to continue throughout dialogue process: Taliban
PESHAWAR: The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Shura has assured the government committee that the ceasefire will remain in place throughout the dialogue process.

During the second round of direct talks held at a secret location in North Waziristan , the TTP Shura sought a prisoner exchange with the government.

Following the second round, the government committee members have moved to an unknown location in North Waziristan.

Earlier, committees formed by the government and Taliban arrived in North Waziristan to hold direct talks with the TTP Shura. The first round of talks was concluded at 2:00 PM.

Habibullah Khattak, Arbab Arif, Fawad Hassan Fawad and Rustam Shah Mohmand.

TTP Shura
Qari Shakeel, Azam Tariq, Molvi Zakir and Molvi Bashir.

Taliban Committee
Maulana Samiul Haq, Maulana Yousaf Shah and Professor Ibrahim

The first direct meeting between the government appointed negotiating committee and the TTP Shura scheduled yesterday (Tuesday) was deferred as the weather was found not suitable for travelling in a helicopter to North Waziristan.
