Faisal Raza Abidi resigns from Senate

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) firebrand leader Faisal Raza Abidi on Thursday resigned from Senate membership.

He handed over his resignation to Deputy Chairman Sabir Baloch after criticizing the upper house of the parliament for not providing him ‘justice’.

Mr Baloch asked him to hold a press conference he wanted to make a political speech. The PPP has sought his resignation for violation of party discipline.
