Security forces recover hostage from Sohrab Goth

KARACHI: Police and rangers carried out a joint rescue operation in Sohrab Goth area of the metropolis and recovered a hostage, Geo News reported on Tuesday.

According to the Rangers spokesman, the joint action was carried out near Al-Asif Square in Sohrab Goth during which a hostage was recovered while the culprits managed to successfully flee from the site.

The spokesman further told that the kidnapper is the prayer leader of a local mosque and is a member of banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
