Case of throwing acid on women lodged in Quetta

QUETTA: A case of throwing acid on women was lodged at the Kachi Baig police station here on Tuesday.

On Monday four women were attacked with acid when they were shopping at a market on Sariab Road. The attackers riding on a motorcycle threw acid at the women using a syringe.

Police said the case was lodged against unknown persons on the request of victims families. No arrests have been made.

Meanwhile, the committee formed by the CCPO has started its investigation into the attack.
