I don't deem army, US, UK a third umpire : Qadri
ISLAMABAD: Allama Tahirul Qadri has said that he does not consider the Pakistan Army, UK or US third umpire.

He said the armed forces remained neutral and only issued advice in deteriorating situations.

Qadri said that he would not hold talks directly instead his nominated committee will negotiate with the panel formed by the government. “I never say no to principled negotiations,” he added.

He said that Sardar Asif Ahmed Ali, Ghulam Ahmed Khar and Khurram Nawaz Gandapur will represent his committee.

“Who will deliver justice for Model Town massacre, in this kind of relationship it is hard to believe both the brothers had not held consultations prior to the Model Town police raid," Qadri said.

He added that the house that was targeted in Model Town was once frequented by Mian Sharif, Nawaz Sharif and his family, a reference to his own residence in Lahore.

The PAT chief said that Nawaz Sharif had sacked his younger brother if he wouldn’t have information about the action in Model Tow
