PTI to hold talks with PML-N, says Imran after meeting with COAS
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that Army Chief Raheel Sharif told him a judicial commission will probe the poll rigging allegations independently.

“I told army chief transparent investigation could not be conducted without Nawaz Sharif’s resignation,” he said while addressing participants of the PTI sit-ins. He said the army will guarantee the investigation into the poll rigging allegations.

He said that the army chief told him the government had requested him to hold talks. “I have categorically informed the army chief about my party’s view point,” he added.

Imran Khan said that he will announce future course of action on Friday evening if “our demand of Nawaz Sharif’s resignation was not met till afternoon”. He said that a PTI team will apprise the PML-N of its viewpoint.
