Sindh CM lifts ban on govt jobs
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has lifted ban on government jobs with immediate effect.

The chief minister has directed the secretaries of all the departments to publicize vacancies in newspapers so that unemployed youths could be provided jobs on merit in a fair and transparent manner, said a handout issued here on Saturday.

It said that selection recruitment committees have been set up for the purpose.

In the recruitment committee at the Secretariat level, Secretary Services will be the chairman while Additional Secretary (Regulation) S&GAD and Deputy Secretary (G.A.) S&GAD will be its members.

At the departments level, department’s secretary will be the recruitment committee’s chairman while subordinate department’s head and Additional Secretary Services S&GAD will be its members.

At the district level deputy commissioner will be the committee’s chairman while subordinate department’s head and Deputy Secretary S&GAD will be its members. (APP)
