Imran says ‘in Karachi to unite people as one nation’

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan Sunday said the oppressors are united and they have created divisions among the people to make political gains.

“I am here to unite people as one nation,” Imran Khan vowed while addressing a huge rally near Quaid’s mausoleum here.

He said the people were divided so that the oppressors could make political gains. “I am here to bring Sindhis, Mohajirs, Baloch, Pakhtuns, and Punhabis together as one nation,” he vowed.

Imran Khan took oath from the participants of the rally, saying ‘promise me you will never tolerate oppression’. “We will build a nation that Quaid-e-Azam had dreamed of.”



He pledged to eliminate the politics of extortion and killings.

Imran Khan said his protest campaign would not end till the time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif quits office.

Khan said all elections with the exception of 1970’s were rigged.

He said a country run by a corrupt government has no future and promised to bring rule of law in Pakistan.

“Pakistani nation will not forgive ‘Maulana Diesel’ for the remarks he made against the mothers and sisters who came out in support of PTI,” he said.

He said false promises were made in the name of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, adding ‘Sindhi brothers be ready Imran Khan is coming to you’.

“We will rid the country of dynastic politics and introduce a system based on merit.”
