One killed, another arrested in shootout

HUB: One alleged militant was killed in an exchange of fire between police and the armed men while another arrested in Sakran area of Lasbela on Monday.

Police sources said that acting on a tip off about presence of militants in village Goth Ramazan Marri who had allegedly shot dead eight labourers of a poultry farm police teams conducted the raid.

An exchange of fire took place between the armed men and police that killed one armed man and injured another, police said. The injured man was taken into custody.

Further probe was underway.
