NA passes resolution against Indian aggression
ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Thursday unanimously approved a resolution against Indian aggression at the Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary.

The resolution was presented by Prime Minister's Advisor on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz and stated that the National Assembly condemned Indian ceasefire violations at the LoC and working boundary in which 13 people have been killed since September 13.

The resolution calls on the global community to resolve the Kashmir issue in light of the United Nations (UN) resolution. The resolution states this issue is the foundation of tension between Pakistan and India.

The resolution expressed solidarity with the families of martyrs and paid tribute to the armed forces.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said Pakistan’s Army was capable of responding to all aggression. He added that India was mistaken if it thought Pakistan’s internal issued could be used to its benefit.

The Defence Minister cautioned that Pakistan and India were nuclear states and should act responsibly.
