New Zealand close fourth day on 167-6, lead by 177
DUBAI: New Zealand finished the fourth day on 167-6, taking an overall lead of 177, in the second Test against Pakistan in Dubai on Thursday.

Ross Taylor was unbeaten on 77 and with him Mark Craig had yet to score, as New Zealand seek a series-levelling win in the three-match series after losing the first Test by 248 runs in Abu Dhabi.

Zulfiqar Babar has figures of 3-60 while Yasir Shah took 3-65.

New Zealand took a 10-run lead following Pakistan´s dismissal for 393 in the first innings.

New Zealand had made 403 in their first knock.

Sarfraz Ahmed scored 112 and added 81 runs for the tenth wicket with Rahat Ali who made 16 not out. (AFP)
