UAE’s Dept of Justice issues objections on Uzair Baloch's extradition
DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Department of Justice on Monday issued three objections regarding the extradition of Uzair Baloch to Pakistan.

The Pakistan Embassy is currently working on efforts to resolve the objections and progress with the process of extradition as soon as possible.

Baloch will be presented in Dubai prosecution on Thursday.

Pakistani officials were optimistic that they would get custody of Baloch following a local court decision that was expected on Sunday, however, no decision was reached yesterday.

Following the hearing, Baloch was taken back to prison under high security.

Uzair Baloch was presented before the court under security of UAE Special Forces. The defendant has secured the one of UAE’s top lawyers to argue his case and has reportedly paid AED 500,000 in fees.
