DNA tests of lynched Youhanabad victims match parents’ samples

LAHORE: The DNA tests of two men lynched by a mob after Youhanabad attacks on Churches have matched with the samples obtained from their parents.

Hafiz Naeem and Babar Noman were picked up by an angry mob following suicide attacks on Churches in Lahore a couple of weeks back. They were badly beaten and then burned to death in the broad daylight and in police presence.

Their postmortem reports have also been released. According to the findings of the reports, the cause of their deaths was severed limbs and broken bones. Both were torched after their limbs were severed through torture.

The findings also show that Hafiz Naeem had his left leg broken while both of his arms had been severed from his body.
