Presidential ordinance regarding JC to be issued within 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: A presidential ordinance regarding formation of Judicial Commission will be issued within 24 hours, sources said on Wednesday.

At a high-level meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today, it was decided that the JC will be formed according to the agreed MoU with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Sources said the JC would present its findings regarding alleged rigging in the 2013 General Elections, in a report within 45 days of formation.

The PTI will give a green signal to return to Parliament after the formation of the JC, sources said.
