SC says corruption up three-fold since new IG Sindh appointment
KARACHI: The Inspector General of Sindh Police submitted his report regarding utilization of funds to improve the force’s investigation wing before the Supreme Court Registry in Karachi on Friday.

The IG Sindh submitted his report before the larger bench headed by Jusitce Ameer Hani Muslim, the honourable bench expressed its dissatisfaction over the report and remarked that the IG was unable to satisfy the bench with his reply and added that since the new IG Sindh took charge of office, corruption has gone up three-fold.

Responding, the Advocate General pleaded the court to give more time for the report to be completed, to which the court adjourned the hearing after summoning the Chief Secretary Sindh to appear at the next hearing to be held on the 4th of August 2015.
