China trade surplus narrows to $160 bn in 2011
SHANGHAI: China's trade surplus narrowed to around $160 billion in 2011, the official Xinhua news agency quoted Commerce Minister Chen Deming as saying on Thursday.

In 2011, total trade volume -- imports and exports combined -- rose more 20 percent to $3.6 trillion, he said.

China's trade surplus in 2010 was $183 billion, official figures showed. (AFP)
