KARACHI: Jamat-ud-Dawa staged a demonstration on Friday against the United States for announcing reward money for the arrest of Hafiz Saeed.

The demonstration was held at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) to express solidarity with the with the JuD leader.

American flags were also burnt by the protesters.

The protesters chanted slogans against the US and India. They stressed that the Pakistani Ulema would not tolerate terrorism and extremism on their soil and would oppose it with “full-force”.

Calling the US “the enemy of Islam”, they criticised the super power for randomly labelling people as terrorists and putting bounty on them.

“It is highly condemnable.”

“The US always declares those Muslims as terrorists who rise for the rights of their suppressed brethren. If justice is served in a genuine mannerthen several criminals will be found in the US as well.”
