Karachi violence claims seven more lives
KARACHI: Triggermen did not let their fingers rest on Saturday as well and got away with another seven killings in the metropolis, Geo News reported.

As a result new murders files opened in many police stations across the city.

In one of the incidents, one, Fahad, 22, was shot dead in Burns Road area, while another who goes by the name of Shafi was injured in the same shooting that killed Fahad. A motorcycle was also seized by lawmen from the crime scene.

Younus, 30, was gunned down near Native Jetty Bridge.

Also, from near Sohrab Goth Bridge a dead body was found. The deceased could not identified as yet.

In Qasba Colony, gunmen ended the life of Mohammad Shafiq, 30, while he was standing outside his house. SSP District West, Amir Farooqi, told Geo News the murdered victim was a trainee policeman, who was home on leave through outpass for spending time with his family.

A man was also found dead in a hotel room located near Cantt Station. According to police the dead man, who had checked into the hotel under an alias, was later identified as Syed Taqi Raza, 48.

A man was also targeted there in Machchar Colony by unknown hitmen. He succumbed to the bullet wounds.

Baldia Town also had its share of bloodshed as firing, again by men of no identity, claimed the life of a man.
