Cracker blast leaves four injured in Karachi

KARACHI: At least four people were injured as unknown motorcyclists hurled a cracker at a roadside restaurant on Mauripur road, Geo News reported on Thursday.

Rangers and police rushed to the sport and cordoned off the area. The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi where two of them were discharged after treatment while two others were admitted.

SSP Lyari Sarfaraz Nawaz said that unknown riders hurled the cracker at the restaurant and managed to flee, leaving four injured including three workers of the restaurant.

The cracker blast caused huge traffic jam on Mauripur road.
