FC 100 platoons leave KPK for Islamabad
PESHAWAR: Frontier Constabulary (FC) hundred platoons have been sent to Islamabad from here on Saturday for the maintenance of law and order in view of the expected convergence of the long march led by Tahirul Qadri in the capital city.

Despite Saturday being holiday, arrangements are being made to send the FC personnel to the federal capital called for tackling any eventuality on the arrival of long march here.

Official sources said that hurriedly drawn from different units a contingent of 4,000 jawans has left for the capital city here, which would be reaching by 5.00 P.M. today.

The federal government had sought from the Khayber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK) government 4,000 jawans for the maintenance of law and order in view of the impending long march.
