89 PTI candidates aspire to contest from Lahore

LAHORE: A total of 89 candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have filed their nomination papers to contest the election for PA and NA seats from the provincial capital.

According to a spokesman of PTI, 39 candidates including Imran Khan, Abdul Aleem Khan, Ibrar-ul-Haq and Dr Yasmeen Rashid have submitted their nomination forms to contest the election for national assembly seats of Lahore.

On the other hand, fifty candidates have filed papers for provincial assembly seats.

However, till the filing of this report no candidate has been finalized by the PTI parliamentary board.
